About
cybersecurity.guru

A practical publication on defending companies against attacks that increasingly use AI: incident breakdowns, defense with AI agents, and the data procedures that contain a breach.

Who it is for

Security engineers, CISOs and IT leads who protect companies against attacks that now often use AI. We assume you know security; we do not assume you have time.

What we publish

Not news rewrites. Attack breakdowns, checklists, tool comparisons and reproducible examples, each written so you can act on it.

Incident breakdowns
What happened in real breaches, how attackers got in, and what would have stopped them.
Defending with AI agents
Using agents to detect, triage and contain attacks, whether the attacker is a person or another agent.
AI-powered attacks
Deepfakes, phishing and automated intrusion, and how to recognize them.
Data and incident procedures
How companies handle data to prevent breaches and contain the ones that happen.

How we work

  • Defense first. Every piece explains an attack in order to stop it. We do not publish working exploits, cracks or account-takeover instructions.
  • Facts checked against their sources. We track facts that change, such as versions and prices, and re-check them against their sources. Each article shows the date its facts were last checked.
  • Sponsored content is always labeled. Anything paid for carries a Sponsored label, on the page and in every listing.
  • Reviews are never sold. Advertisers and partners cannot buy, preview or change an editorial review.

Sourcing, corrections and the use of AI tools are set out in full in the editorial policy.

Who writes it

Articles are published under the editorial byline. Each one lists its sources and the date its facts were last checked.
